A practical capture loop
Reliable capture starts before the Aniipod throw. This loop separates discovery, preparation and execution so a rare encounter does not become a panic test.
Prepare a capture kit
Keep inventory space, capture items and a low-risk pressure option ready before leaving a hub. A full backpack can invalidate an otherwise successful route.
- Reserve at least ten free Aniimo backpack slots before high-density capture tools.
- Carry a controllable damage option that will not accidentally finish the target.
- Mark weather, time and local phenomena when a form appears.
Approach, pressure, capture
Observe the target first, remove nearby threats, then create a safe capture window. Do not confuse faster inputs with a better probability.
- Use terrain to isolate the encounter.
- Apply only the pressure the current tutorial or client confirms.
- After capture, open the Aniilog and record form, habitat and discovery tasks.
When to stop
A failed streak is a signal to review conditions, not to consume the entire inventory.
- Recheck item tier and target state.
- Confirm the encounter is not event- or condition-locked.
- Return after restocking instead of turning one catch into sunk-cost play.
