Egg Heist extraction decisions
Egg Heist runs end at the extraction decision, and most losses are decided there. Use information, objective state and rival position to choose between contesting, rotating and leaving.
The three-question check
Before committing anywhere late-round, answer: what do we hold, what would contesting cost, and where are the rivals? Any unknown answer pushes the decision toward extraction.
- Holding enough to profit? Protect it; do not gamble it for a margin.
- Cost includes recovery time, not just the fight itself.
- An unseen rival team near the exit is information too—assume the worst route is watched.
Rotate before you are forced to
Good extractions start early. Moving one objective ahead of the crowd converts map knowledge into uncontested value, while reactive rotations arrive into other teams’ plans.
- Pre-assign who calls the rotation and honor the call.
- Keep one mobility or escape Twine unspent for the final leg.
- Rotate through information—high ground and sightlines—not just toward loot.
Leave on your own terms
Extraction under pressure is a fighting retreat: control tools forward, carrier protected, no doubling back. A clean exit with a partial load beats a wiped team holding everything.
- The carrier never initiates fights on the way out.
- Spend control effects to break contact, not to secure kills.
- Review the first irreversible mistake after each run, not the final scoreboard.
